Q: Are these original ads or photocopies?
A: All our ads are 100% authentic. We hand-harvest these advertisements from publications of their period. We can guarantee that your item will be an original and not a low-quality photocopy. Also, each picture is a picture of the actual ad for sale. We do not re-use pictures, because each ad may have variations in content and/or condition.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We can accept payments by VISA or MasterCard credit cards. We can also accept personal checks (drawn on a US bank), money orders or cashier checks in US dollars.

Q: What are your shipping costs?
A: You can view an estimate of shipping costs by viewing your cart. However, final shipping costs will be displayed on the invoice you see before confirming your order. Unless you're purchasing some of our clearance lots, most orders should qualify for the following rates:

United States: $4.00
Canada: $9.00
International: $12.50

The above rates should apply to all our single-ad listings (no matter how many of them you buy!). So, purchase as many of our ads as you'd like, and pay just one small s/h fee!

Q: How will my ad be shipped?
A: All ads are shipped through the USPS (first-class within the US, and airmail letter-post for International). The ads are placed inside a plastic bag (to protect from moisture) and then are shipped inside a specialty stay-flat cardboard mailer. The mailers are clearly stamped "Please Do Not Fold Or Bend". We have found that this process helps to ensure your ads reach you safely.

Q: How do you grade the condition of your ads?
A: All our ads should have the condition listed in the description. We try to point out any significant defects that the ad might have. Sometimes grading terminology can be a little subjective, so this is what we mean when we use the following terms:

Great: The ad is a nice clean copy with very little, or no visible wear
Good: The ad may exhibit some wear, but nothing that would significantly detract from its visible appeal, especially if framed.
Fair: The ad has seen better days, and shows some significant signs of wear. We rarely list items in this condition, but occasionally put some up if the content is of high enough merit.

Q: Why would anyone want to buy a vintage ad?
A: Vintage ads are great for many reasons! They make excellent gifts, can add value to collectibles, use them for historical reference, or frame and display them for their sheer aesthetic value.

Q: I can't find the ad I'm looking for listed in your store. Do you have more ads available?
A: Absolutely! We have THOUSANDS of ads that we have not yet had the opportunity to place in our online store. If you're looking for something special, please contact us. We'll be glad to look through our inventory and see if we have anything suitable for you.
